I started working in the NHS in 1990 and qualified as a Registered General Nurse in 1995. I began working in the Accident and Emergency where I worked for 14 years as a clinical sister. I completed by BSc in Autonomous Practice in 2003 and my non-medical prescribing in 2006. I left A&E in 2009 to work at the Caskgate surgery in Gainsborough, where I completed my higher education courses in Asthma, COPD, Coronary heart disease and Diabetes. I began working at Willingham in 2017. I am a Royal College of Nursing accredited Advanced Level Nurse Practitioner, working alongside the GP’s and managing the nurse team. I am the lead for infection control and have a special interest in diabetes.
